2600k @ 4.5 what would bottleneck?

Not going to bottleneck...
As far as when would you use everything your cpu is capable of... Would depend on the application your running. For instance. Flight sim has a tendency to bring any cpu to it's knees. But isn't as hard on the gpu.

from the third level down (aka Discrete: GTX 590; Discrete: HD 6990, 7970 GHz Ed.) and you should be fine w/ no fear of a bottleneck
