With that cheaper processor and what not is the PSU going to be able to hold up the 7950s if i leave them STOCK (no overclocking)?

Remember this is for mining litecoins.. The cpu is there so i can tuen the computer on.. It serves no other purpose and while mining cannot hender the GPUs in any way.
I would agree if i was gaming that going with that CPU would be straight up stupid lol

You need a like an 800W PSU for x-fire on two of those cards
"750W (or greater) power supply with four 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connectors recommended for AMD CrossFire™ technology"
http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7950/Pages/radeon-7950.aspx#2

Secondly, you will barley be able to unlock half the performance of one of them if you have that CPU. Get an AMD FX-4300 instead and maybe double ur RAM, and then you'll have a decent rig.

ps, don't forget the tower case, HDD/SSD, and CPU fan.

Remember. Mining, not gaming for even a second on this thing.
I already have my HDD

The concensus seems to be that at least a 750w psu will be needed though so i will go with that.

Toss in some more for the rest of the system and as long as your PSU has ~500W on the 12V rail you should be fine.

litecoins? There is now more then one? I personally think you'd be better off investing the $700+ or something like that rather then mining. You could even use your current daily driver to mine while you are sleeping if you really wanted to.

Their value isnt super high but i would rather jump on it now rather than late.
Once ASICs hit the BTC mining, everyone woth their gpu mining could switch to LTC due to their rigs not beings as effective
