Hi guys!
I moved to Brazil and I'd like a build a gaming pc. I already build computer using guides on internet, but never in Brazil. There is a high importation taxe in Brazil, so all the components are more expensive and delayed compared to US/EU. That's where my problem is, I don't know what's the best quality/price I can have here. A March 2013 build of 1000$ cost nearly 2000$ here.

Anyway, I'd be so happy if someone could help me. I have between 2100-2400R$ (2R$ = 1$). And I think the site http://www.kabum.com.br/ is reliable and one of the cheapest brazilian website.
I hope someone can help me!

Importation taxes is 40%.. It's pretty ridicul. Look at the website for some example of prices.

that site isnt reliable by the way, where in brazil are you? (i live there)
yeah, computer parts there are pretty damn expensive, with 2100R$ i think you could build an FX based computer, with an older or lower end graphics card (doesnt mean you wont run the newer games, just not on max), something along the lines of a 650ti.

yes, paraguai is a good option if you're near the border or you dont mind the long long drive heheh.
but yeah, brazil has stupid high taxes, depending on the your rig it would be cheaper to buy a ticket to miami and buy the computer there and go back in a day.

i answered your thread too.
