i have one SATA hard drive of segate 1 tb installed in my pc , recently i bought a new SATA hard drive of segate 2 tb. is there need any jumper setting on my other sata hard drive?

Some SATA drives actually do user jumpers to set the drive to a slower speed(SATA 150 down from 300 megabit/sec) for older system(and some other features).

Chances are you will not need them, but sometimes you run into it. This is not like the Master/Slave/Cable Select from the IDE days.

Yeah you really only see that problem trying to use modern drives on old 1st gen SATA boards. I think I actually had to do it once. Seems like it was an AMD board as well.
