Also shows up in other games I play: Bioshock Infinite, Brink, Minecraft, Torchlight 2

I need help figuring out what is causing this graphic issue. I have tried the following:

Motherboard 1: Biostar TZ77XE3
Motherboard 2: Asrock Extreme4 Z77
Graphics 1: MSI 7850
Graphics 2: Onboard Graphics
Graphics 3: Sapphire 7950
Tried swapping video cables (DVI and HDMI)
Different display - monitor / tv
Most up to date drivers
Drivers that come with motherboard and video card
Changed different settings in game
Memory test - no errors
Intel CPU diagnostic - no errors / pass
Tried two different power supplies: OCZ 750W and Corsair 750W
Windows 7 and Windows 8

Build:
Asrock Z77 Extreme4
Corsair 750W Gold
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
i5 3570k
Sapphire 7950
OCZ Vertex 4 SSD
Windows 8 64-bit Pro

CPU Temps: Idle 30 C / Gaming 50-60 C (stock cooler)
GPU Temps: Idle 28C / Gaming 55 C

I can't seem to fix this problem. Could my CPU be causing these issues or is it just the games and I am noticing more than others due to brightness / contrast settings. The issue showed up when I was using the 7850, 7950, and intel onboard graphics.

A CPU can cause issues with minor things graphically...but...it's not terribly common.

Have you made sure your intel onboard graphics are completely disabled when you install a discrete GPU, because the intel graphics are garbage and could be playing up at things, you should likely be able to disable them in your settings or in your BIOS...(not sure, never messed with intel graphics settings for on board GPU)
