ive been seeing a trend in corsair units lately that they are not the best...after long questions and answers are drawn out and investigated I notice the OP's are saying "it was the psu and all is fine now after ordering another" thing is im not seeing any antec problems or seasonic problems. I don't think ill be recommending corsairs in builds anymore....your thought?

He said the verdict wasn't in yet.... I don't think he has based an opinion at all... Hes asking other members their opinions. Don't be so quick to judge.

@op. I personally think it's just a coincidence that you've noticed a few posts. Keep an eye on reviews and such for about a month but I bet you'll find the trend on Duds will be pretty even across the board :).

no...its been over a month ive gathered this opinion of answerering over 100+ problems...just saying I have not seen any aother problems related to other psu's other than cheap coolermasters and coolmax crap. corsairs and their 80+ cx series and older models like the builder model have been failing.

No matter what company you buy from, there will be defective units, that's why we have 30 day return policies, and warranties.

Corsairs budget power supplies may not be that great, but their higher up ones are fantastic units.

Corsair power supplies are more common too compared to seasonic, so you will see more bad corsair power supplies.

exactly...their budget models are getting on par with coolermasters....its like micheal vick.."im the greatest! so im gonna give crappy performance."

Yea, but in the end we are all going to have our own personal experiences. I think OCZ is one of the worst companies to buy from, but someone else may say their the best. It's all personal experiences most of the time.

As "dirtyferret" said also, a lot has to do with shipping. When you get shipping it's best to get 1 or 2 day because it will be air mailed quick to you instead of sitting in a bumpy vehicle for 3-4 days, then another day in a local delivery truck.

i see your points....maybe its a case of "national lotteries syndrome" the lottery in canada is almost always won in the high populations centers, because more people buy tickets than in a sparcley populated area. so people whine when toronto wins all the time. :) maybe im just seeing more corsair problems because they are so popular than say a silverstone strider or an enermax.
