Well depend on what resolution your planing to game at and what setting that being said most 650 boost I have seen around running for $170 and 660 about 200, however I have seen at least one sale a week placing 660's at $170 I don't think you you will see any sales on the boost for at least a few weeks. Looking at a few reviews and it only roughtly about 10% slower than a GTX 660.

My screen resolution is 1680x1050; are there any other cards that would perform well in my price range?

Oh I would say the 650 ti Boost at your resolution is fine so you can save the $30 heck you probably could get away with a 1gig card and save another $20 at the resolution you play at though the 2gig is a safer bet if you decide to get a better monitor.

^ it is better to get 2GB card at that resolution. There are already games able to use more than 1 gb of vram in such resolution. Crysis 3 use 1.1gb of vram when using very high setting plus x16 AF at 1600x900 res. And that's without AA being use at all.
