Hey Guys I have been wondering if you could help me find a GOOD motherboard for mid/full tower that will have space for 2*7970 with socket for i5 under £50. Thanks in advance.

Solution

Hi :)

You are kidding on the price right ?

Under 50 quid for a i5, crossfire motherboard ....no way, unless its made of wood...

All the best Brett :)

Any recomendations? :)

Hi :)

Personally we sell a LOT of Asus boards (and I use them in my gamers machines) .....

But they are not cheap, so if you are buying on cost....have a look at somewhere like www.overclockers.co.uk

All the best Brett :)

One last question please, what about mother that would suit into this for £100 with cf support?

Would it fit? just with 1 gpu at start...the case I would change later. Thanks for the reply

Hi :)

Most HP cases a normal motherboard will fit but some cases will not allow it...you would have to either ask HP or find someone who has one to ask...

All the best Brett :)
