Hi !
I have an HP probook 4510s (core2duo 2.10ghz,2go DDR3,Hdd 320go,intel HD1000 gpu)
and i need to upgrade it with a budget around 200$

- An 1To HDD 2.5" or 128Gb SSD
- 4 go or 8go of 1333Mhz ddr3 ram
- an 8 cell battery (since mine is not working)

I'm not planning on gaming ( Gpu :( )
So what do you suggest guys ?
Please feel free to suggest anything.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi :)

An SSD will work in any laptop with the correct adaptor...

Ram is slightly more of a problem....

Its NOT how much you want to put in...its how much IT will take....some lappies are whats called SLOT LIMITED , which means they may only take 2 gb pieces or 4 gb pieces in each slot...really old lappies sometimes only take 1gb pieces..

Yours is around 3/4 years old as a guess ?

All the best Brett :)

Thanks for your answer Brett ,
i checked my laptop can support up to 8gb DDr2 or ddr3
so how much would it be enough for non-gaming purpose ?
And what frequence should i get (i have actually 2gb ddr2 800mhz) ?

Hi :)

I would put in 8 of the same speed as not gaming ....

All the best Brett :)
