Title says it. Any idea what the problem could be? My "windows (c)" went up 40-50 GB overnight and it's completely full now.. I tried desk clean-up, cccleaner, freed up like 2Gb, but what about the rest?

I tried to check where most of the space being taken; ended up finding that "computer>Windows (c)>users>'my user name here'>My Documents>History>'my user name here'>'my user name here again'

After that there's a folder called "data". right clicking and choosing properties on it, shows that it's using 721 GB space.... is that normal at all?

If it is, then why would my Hard Drive go up that much? If it's not, how can I fix it?

Where exactly is this folder located on your Hard Drive?
Thanks,
Ritchie

EDIT-If you are referring to C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History, that is fine to clear out.

computer>Windows (c)>users>'userid'>My Documents>History>'userid'>'userid'>data

Never seen that before, but that is not a System Required folder.
What do the contents mainly consist of? (File type wise)
That is most likely perfectly fine to delete/empty, and has a highly unusual file size.

solved. There's something called file history in windows. I think it saves copies of everything so you can restore anything you delete..etc.... deleted all and freed like 700gb space and turned that option off... That solved it.
