New psu corsair GS or CX?

My friend is looking for a power supply to run the 5850 that im currently using as it'll be his, but hes lacking a quality and required wattage power supply to run it. Both options are the 600watt versions of the GS and CX series psus, i was looking at a psu tier chart on neweggs forums, showing the GS above the CX. The price difference is only $10 and the tx series is $20 more from the cx and $10 more than the gs. I know the tx will be better but hes on a budget, so would is the gs slightly better quality? and worth the extra $10? i mean it does have led lights lol but thats the only visual difference lol

The Corsair GS and CX Series PSUs are both based on the same CWT (Channel Well Technology) PUQ platform.

The GS Series uses some higher quality components like ball bearing cooling fans and higher quality electrolytic capacitors instead of the noisier sleeve bearing fans and cheaper electrolytic capacitors used in the CX Series.

Go for quality.
