- I recently (regrettably) shipped my custom-built PC via UPS. Before I shipped it off, it was working fine. I had a few issues with my graphics card in that it was overheating due to the fan not being plugged in all the way. I managed to fix that and I was good to go. But when it came time to ship it down I had put it in the most protective casings and insulation (obviously not inside of the machine) as possible to assure it would reach my destination with no problems. When it arrived, I was greeted with a bent CPU cooling fan and the box looked as if it was dropped once or, possibly, twice. As soon as I saw this I immediately figured that the CPU could have been crushed and it may have damaged my computer to the point where I would have to buy some new components. I decided I would not turn it on until I get a new fan and thermal paste. When it came time to test my machine, I was greeted with the computer shutting off after 5 seconds (without going to POST) and suddenly turning back on. I tried numerous things to narrow my search as to what the cause of this issue was by removing RAM sticks and unplugging the DVD drive (Yeah, I'm pretty sure that would have no effect). But for some miraculous reason it decided to work out of the clear blue when I turned it on and I was greeted with lovely artifacts smeared on my screen. The computer was able to POST and it got to the system restore screen and I went into safe mode and everything was fine and working... except for those bothersome artifacts that were invading my eyeballs. So after I explored and saved some of my important documents to a USB drive in safe mode I decided I would try to run the system normally and it went through the routine of "Windows is loading"... and I was greeted with the LOVELY Blue screen of Death. I have seen the Blue Screen of Death before on my old Windows 97 computer and it used to stay on the screen until you turn your computer off. This one just flashed before my eyes and the computer immediately turned off and back on again only to repeat this vicious cycle. I tirelessly searched the internet for answers from it could be a bad GPU to a bad MOBO. I honestly do not know what the problem is and it is FRUSTRATING beyond belief.
- This computer is only a year old. All of the parts are the same age.
- I am absolutely new when it comes to the hardware aspect of computers and I figured I would come to this site to see if I can get some answers to this issue. Thank you in advance.
- I will post two pictures: One being the System's Hardware with the bent CPU (If Relevent) and the Blue Screen of Death (Which I was lucky enough to snag a picture of before it clicked off).

- Things to note:
> I am a novice builder.
> I did have UPS warranty, but they were claiming it was already broken before it was shipped and I called some MEAN horse hockey on that. They ended up refunding me enough to cover what they saw as "damaged" (Which was the CPU cooler). This was only done because I complained greatly to this company.
> I hate UPS.

It could be the CPU that was damaged but usually when a cpu is damaged , its not about it works sometimes and other times doesnt.
I think that the hard drive where the ones who were dameged in the shipping, and makes sense because they have moving parts, also when a hard drive is damaged it starts to fail but it works sometimes. So yeah , hope that this helps.

Alright, so the GPU (Obviously from the images only) is not the problem whatsoever? Because, to be honest, I am most scared for that to be the problem as it costed me quite a bit of money. However, I will return this motherboard to Gigabyte and hopefully my problem will be fixed. Thank you greatly for your response.
