ASMedia SATA 3 Drivers w8 Crash

I recently put together my own build today, but I have a major issue. When I try to install the SATA 3 drivers from the ASRock z77 Extreme disc Windows 8 crashes causing me to revert to a restore point. Any help will be appreciated.

Also I installed W8 through one of the SATA 3 ports accidentally if that would cause any issues..

Lol asrock recommends that you update the bios for people who are using win8 as they have been adding a lot of support for it and bug fixes...
Go to asrocks website and download the latest drivers do not use the ones on the disc you can use the lan driver one so you can get on the web but that's it you should really go to there website and download the latest ones as like I said they have been and still are adding a lot of support/bug fixes for windows 8. Hope after you do that it fixes your problem.
And no that wouldn't affect it...
