I'm looking at this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Apparently it's a CPU and a graphics card in one? Will that effect the CPU's ghz in some form? More importantly I'm wondering is: if I have a separate graphics card will only one graphics card like.... work? Or will it work together making the computer have an even better graphics processing.

Yes, that cpu has agraphics card in it. It is similar to the 6670 ddr5. It is a very good cpu. It is like an i3 from intel. Maybe better.

If I have another graphics card though will they work together for better graphics processing?

It's an APU. It is a CPU with an integrated graphics card.

Only one graphics card will work, unless you Crossfire it with an appropriate graphics card. Namely, either the 6770 or the 6670. This is due to the fact that the 7660D is not a GCN GPU, rather it is a VLIW4. Ironically, it cannot crossfire with any of the new 7xxx series GPUs.

So for example, if you pair the CPU with a Radeon HD 7850, then only the 7850 will be used. However, if you pair it with either a 6670 or a 6770, then both GPUs will be used simultaneously i.e. crossfiring. This will improve the performance compared to a standalone 7660D, but it will be less powerful than a single 7850.

If you are only using a 720p monitor, then the 7660D should serve quite well, though you'd have to limit game settings to medium. Anything above 1080p and you'll need a discrete card.

Mind you, the APU will benefit from fast RAM.

If I have helped, please consider selecting my answer as the solution. Thanks :)

It depends on how you would utilize it, and your budget.
This APU series is better to be a stand alone HTPC with some casual gaming, if you are budget constrained, but would want an ample/decent gaming.
You could upgrade in the future, by adding another video card which is an HD6670, so you could have a better gaming experience.
However, if you are building a PC, ground-up, and you can afford to buy everything, including a video card, buy a separate one (e.g. and HD7790) with a pentium Gseries processor.
I would not recommend to utilize a dual graphics setup from this processor, as it is expensive in a certain point of view, and also have the microstuttering issue.
