Right i have decided i need 2 x 22" monitors due to space.

I initially posted 23 - 24 but i don't seem to have the space for 2 of those (i was just going with 1)

Apart from what my other post told me i am not 100% savvy on monitors so thought i would ask.

Just thought i would ask if anyone has any recommendations before i trall the web, i am after 1080p with a quick response time and 1920 x 1080

i am a fan of Asus just fyi

Thanks in advance

If your intentions are to use both monitors to play games, then a multi-monitor setup with only two monitors is not ideal. For example, assuming a 1st person shooter allows you to use a 2 monitor setup that would mean that the targeting recticle will be split between both screen half of it will appear on one monitor and half on the other. The same will true for your target (victim). The separation between the two halves will be the width of the monitors' bezel; roughly 1" - 1.5".

Maybe a game like Flight Simulator X is possible to play on both screens. One screen is devoted just to all the instrument dials/panels while the other screen to used to actually play the game.

I have a monitor setup mainly used for research or to watch a movie while I am doing whatever on the PC.

You should give a budget and the overall intended purpose of the monitors. There are basically two types of monitors:

TN Panel
- Ideal for playing games; low input lag and low response times of 2ms or 5ms
- bad viewing angles; colors shift easily the more off-center you are to the monitor
- Pretty inexpensive

e-IPS (many times listed as just IPS)
- Good for games, but have a little higher response time (8ms) than TN panels. Games are still playable though.
- Better viewing angles since colors do not shift as dramatically as TN panels. (Great for watching movies especially if it is more than just you watching the movie)
- IPS-e panel monitors are priced competitively with TN panel monitors, but on average they are slightly more expensive.
