I bougth a case witch have a built in fan controller with female 3pin connectors(all black wires)
and i bougth fans that had standard 4pin molex(2 wires, red and black)
i've cut the wires since i wanted to use them in the fan controller but can you use a fan controller when the fan only have 2 wires?
And where does the black and the red cable go in the connector?
a picture would be welcome or just a umberic answer. if you look at the connector from top-behind. the plastic tabs downwards and away from you.
