AMD A6-3620 vs Intel I5 2320

I have both computers and currenty run the AMD in my one gaming rig. I was able to use AMD overdrive to get it up to just over 4ghz and was wondering if it would be better to switch everything over to my Intel machine which I have just kind of sitting around. Also was wondering which will perform better because the I5 only runs at 3ghz. Not worried about onboard graphics because I have a 6970 to handle that

The i5 will definitely run better because the CPU architecture is better, even if you're running it at 1 GHz below the A6's speed.

I5 2320 defiantly the better choice. look at there performance:

Yeah the 3220 is a great choice in CPU. And it's pretty much a quad core processor if you include hyperthreading. And while your using single threaded applications you simply can't get any faster than a 3220.
