Cpu Overheating After 4 Days Of New Thermal Paste

Hello guys,
i am facing a problem with my laptop, i dissablembed it and applied new paste on it.. the next 4-5 days were good but after that the idle temperature have gone up significantly (9-10C) and the most noticeable thing is only after 2 mins of gaming the temps rise up to 95C.

this never happened before disassembly and in the 4 days after applying new paste, Only after a few hours these temps were reached or when loading new levels.
i don't understand what might be the problem as the fan is working fine, please give your insights

Some laptops you a thermal pad so when you replace that with paste, it might not be quite as thick so you end up with poor contact and higher temperatures. You will need to take it apart and have a really close look. You might be able to shim something to improve the heatsink - CPU contact pressure and use some decent paste while you are in there.

First of all... Why did you apply new paste if you weren't having the problem before?

What did you use to clean the old thermal compound off? Did you remove it from both the CPU and the heatsink?

I don't know which thermal compound that is, but it seems to be not a very good one. Most good compounds have a Thermal conductivity above 8.5W/(m-K)

When you applied the new paste, how much did you use?

disassembly of the laptop requires new paste and it had become very hard too, i removed the paste correctly from both the areas and re-applied using the spread method.

Ya it was a very cheap paste but iam not sure that it will lead to a problem like this.

it not a thermal pad thingy, looks like i have to take it apart again and tighten the screws with better paste
