Hey guys.

I recently brought a broken Nvidia 560ti to try and repair.

The card fans turn on and the lights on the board turn green when I plug in the 2 6-pin power connectors, however no picture appears?!

When I use the on board video the computer or Nvidia doesn't recognise it.

Also I tried to flash it back to the orignal bios using NvFlash but even Nvflash doesn't detect the card?!
I read somewhere about "the tweezer" method where you ground one of the chips to flash it anyway but wasn't really sure about it?

If anyone has had the same problem or any insight would be great.

Thanks!

Does windows even recognize the card? If not then there isn't really much you can do. If you get another one you can make bookends.

I'll check to see if window's recognises it, when I get home.

Coincidently my brother also has a Asus 560ti, but that one works haha.

So as I am at my wits end with this card I decided to ground the STRAP_SUB_VENDOR pin by unsoldering the pin on the ERROM chip and then wiring it to the 8th pin.
However I Nvflash still doesn't detect the card so I think I may have used the wrong pin on the chips, so will look at it again later and post back my results.

Has anyone else had any experience with this grounding of the strap sub vendor pin before?

Thanks

I grounded the PIN but still couldn't get NVflash to detect it, and I've tried multiple version of NVflash, so I think this card is well and truly bricked!

Thanks for the help anyway guys!
