This is the build for my pc (been running for at least 3 years moving on to 4 without any problems):

Case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower
Mobo: ASUS P7P55D LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel
Processor: Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
HardDrive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA

Graphic Card: PNY GeForce 9800 GT 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 > Just upgraded to EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card on 2012.

Power Supply: Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power
DVD Drive: Sony Optiarc 24X DVD/CD Rewritable Drive
Cooler: ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2

Here is the question:

I just recently purchased this
Kingston Technology HyperX Red 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1333MHz 9-9-9
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008XQB264/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I tried installing both at the same time but on boot screen gets stuck at windows starting with the window logo forever.

I took out the old ram from the blue slots and replace them just the new rams and the system runs fine and everything is recognized. Then I tried slotting in back old rams on to the black slots. Then the window gets stuck on starting window screen again.

Could it be the black ram slot on the mobo that is the problem? or these 2 brands of ram dont really work fine together?
Gonna try booting up on the black ram slots only now.
Will appreciate any help I can get.

Option is to install your old memory then go into the bios and slow the speed down on them to 1333 mhz or install the new memory only and go into bios and OC them to 1600 mhz then you should have 4 sticks of RAM at the same speed.

Can you give us the timings on your different RAM?

I switched their position around so now its both kingston 8gig on B1/B2 and one of the 2gig stick on A1. Inserting the 2nd stick on A2 makes it stuck in starting windows. So now I'm running with 10gig ram, but when i check system properties under Computer, it shows "Installed Memory (RAM) : 10.0GB (7.99GB usable). Any reason why?

Btw I think this board limits the RAMs to 1333mhz from what I read on their forum.
When you say timing, I use CPUID CPU-Z it shows 4 diff readings ill just pick the one on the furthest right
they are both 9-9-9-25

@thomann061: to be honest I don't remember.

PC seem to run fine except for the system properties showing "Installed Memory (RAM) : 10.0GB (7.99GB usable)"

And Tera Online wont run now after ram upgrade.....
Says Insufficient Memory when there's 5 gig free under task manager.
To think I bought additional ram to play 2 games at once x.x

Your system probably isn't gonna like having one set in dual channel and one in single channel, try the method posted above with your 1600mhz sticks in, downclock them, turn off the PC and put the other set in. RAM can be kind of finicky with compatibility, it is usually best to buy a full set at once or to match the new set as closely as possible.
