SLI or not to SLI for upgrade

I want to upgrade my graphics card, my budget is around $300
so , I was thinking maybe an evga gtx670 or 2 evga GTX650Ti Boost SuperClocked in SLI
which will you think I get more GPU power?

If you have a choice between one strong GPU or two mid level GPUs, always go for the strong one. The 670 will be more than you need to play everything at max right now. Years later when the 670 is getting outdated, and they are dirt cheap, you can add a second one for sli.

i thought 2 mid level will do the same job or better, i guess I was wrong.
