Corsair Vengeance:-Corsair's Vengeance ram is the most popular among gamers today. It's fast, reliable, and inexpensive when compared to other brands. Most are gravitating towards 4x4 GB sticks for a total of 16GB. While you certainly could upgrade to 32GB, 16GB is more than you need right now, and by the time you really need more than that you'll probably want to build a new rig anyway.
  4. do you think extra bandwidth will be helpfull, i mean will there be any difference between 2133 mhz & 2400 mhz, and does anybody know if ASrock extreme4 z77 support quadchanel?
  5. by the time you get to clock speeds that fast the difference is neglable. But if you want to overclock all of the modules look good. (i have never overclocked my ram) also latency does affect performance, although im not sure how.. As for your mobo if it has 4 ram slots it will support quadchannel
  6. so as u know only high end module only provide ram cooler but $200 level doest not provide any cooler so pls tell me which ram cooler i should buy/
  7. ram cooler? not sure what that is, but with the high end ram modules you get really really big heat sinks. Combine those massive heat sinks with case fans (i have 6 fans in my case) and your ram will stay at a good temp. Take a look at one of my ram modules (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233296&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop+Memory-_-N82E16820233296&gclid=CLPJo7aztrYCFQ3qnAod9CoA4w) compared to (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231568) mine has some metal strips, the ripjaw has lots of things sticking out, thats the heatsink.
  8. found a "ram cooling unit" seems gaudy and unnecessary, but..
  9. i did a little research and found out you were right. With extreme overclocking its best to have a ram cooling unit, anyway i can point you to the right direction, but what module are you going to buy?

    G.Skill TridentX F3-2666C11Q-16GTXD 4x 4GB 2666 MHz C11

also do you think 16 GB will OVERKILL , because beside gaming i do video encoding, audio ripping,3ds max, photoshop & maybe to virtual set up in vmware
  11. looks to me like you can only get it with a kit like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231596
If you dont want that i can look else where to see
