How long can my CPU last with these temps.

I have an i7 3770k that is OCed to 4.2ghz. When I run games for a while, my temps spike to about 57c (that's the maximum i've ever seen the cpu hit only for about a fraction of a second) mostly the cpu stays at a max of 54c while gaming for a long period of time. Lets say I game every single day with the temperature range of 45-54c, how long should I expect the cpu to last for? I'll post my specs too if you guys are curious.
i7 3770k @ 4.2
Corsair H70 cooling
8gb Corsair vengeance ram
Corsair TX850 PSU
msi twin frozer gtx 680 4gb SC
msi z77a gd65 motherboard

I also have an irrelevant question about my power supply since I'm just too lazy to post a new thread to ask this question. Do you guys think It would be a good idea to use my second gtx 680 for SLI with the PSU that I have, or do you think I need a better PSU. Thank you.

I probably shouldn't have added that part. All it did was scare you. I'm used to seeing mid to high 40s, but that's using an NH-D14. Leaves me with a bit of a bias...

Your temperatures are just fine. Consider the fact that the chip's protections kick in in the mid 100s...

That PSU should be fine, 850 is plenty and it is a Corsair unit. I would say at those temps your CPU is not going to lose much life, I would not expect it to fail because of the heat, but I will say, 5-6 years? Certainly longer than you should wait to upgrade it I'd say lol.

Are you guys 100% sure that these temps are good? 55c on load seems hot to me even though I OCed the cpu. I know a few people who have the Corsair H70-100 and they're getting around the same temperatures, but I really expected a lot better from this water cooling system. I guess I should've just went with the coolermaster evo and saved myself a ton of money.

They are fine and pretty good temps, closed loop water coolers are equivalent to certain air coolers, they just have the capability to be quieter and less cumbersome inside your case. But yes, many on here would have simply recommended the EVO or another quality air cooler. If you really want high quality watercooling you have to create your own loop.

What do you mean by slightly high side of normal? compared to the normal temp that I should be getting with the H70, or compared to the "safe" temperature for most cpus?. If you mean higher than the safe temperature, then what do you recommend me to do about this? I am willing to replace this watercooler with one that will keep my temps at that safe cpu temp range just so I could have some peace of mind. What should I buy that would guarantee that safe temp?

Your temperatures are just fine. Consider the fact that the chip's protections kick in in the mid 100s, you're doing great.

So, one more time: YOUR TEMPERATURE ARE GOOD! :D
