I know that 1 has MLC flash and the other has 3-bit per cell MLC aka TLC flash and that TLC flash isnt as reliable.
In My country there is a major price difference...
The 120GB 840 is Rs.6000 which is $111 equivalent
And the 128GB 840 Pro is Rs.9500 which is $176 equivalent.
There is Rs.3500 or $65 difference between the two! and that is a lot! Is the 840 Pro really worth the extra?
The drive will be used as a boot drive and will be used for all programs.
How unreliable is TLC flash? Is it worse than hard drives?
The only other alternative in between the two is the OCZ Vertex 4 which is Rs.8000 or $148 equivalent. Im really looking towards the 120GB 840 as it fits right in my price range...
