It sounds like you could have poor air flow. Could you show us what your case looks like with a picture?

You can adjust your fan profile with MSI Afterburner, or just setting it to a specific speed in the CCC, but I much prefer the MSI Afterburner option, as it'll adjust speeds as needed, rather than leaving it full blast.

As long as the box is closed up, that is poor air flow. That harddrive dangling there will get in the way of the grill at the front, and that grill could definitely use a fan to suck air in. Then once everything it together, you want to keep the cables compact so they don't block much air.

That looks like an HP tower if I'm not mistaken.

Just recieved my xfx 7850 (2gb) last night.
Md I got: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
W/ two fans. (is this the same model or did you buy one with only one fan)

Installed it an ran furmark (In windowed mode) Temps looked ok, but not a good test, will repeat in full screen (1920 x 1200).

I got the impression that the xfx brand seems to run hotter, Was planing on getting the His Ice, not sure why switched - lol.

Core stands for core edition which is 1 fan.

Looking at the case, unless you added some fans, could use some, or just a new case all together.

Why?

Your computer creates heat, and that heat goes into your case. Unless the heat leaves the case, it'll heat up all your components. Having fans in the front sucking new air in, and fans in the back pushing air out, you help keep everything cooler.

OR maybe should i just open the case and put something around it like a carton or paper and just make holes in it?

You might consider buying a decent gaming case to keep their air flowing better.
