I have been debating for sometime between the EVGA GTX 670 ftw and the Gigabyte gtx 670 windforce. I know there as been a lot of debate but each forum i read there was never a clear answer. So what would you guys suggest i get ( will be doing just a standard 1920 by 1080 resolution). Also I will be overclocking this.

The two cards im looking at

If you have a case that has good airflow and are not expecting to SLI, the Gigabyte card is favorable. It will be quieter as well.

The EVGA card uses a reference design, and as such will be noiser and warmer. But, it expels heat out the back instead of into the case like the Gigabyte. Blower type cooled cards are typically better for SLI for these reasons as well.

Sidenote: I actually broke my own logic and I have two Gigabyte 670s. My case has excellent air flow though. The cards are quiet and cool.

Okay well it looks like I will go with the windforce. Do you think it would be okay to save a bit of money and go amazon used? or should I just get a brand new one?

Brand new for sure. It's not worth getting a used card because it could be on it's last leg for all you know. Buy new card that has full warranty.
