I recently built a computer with the following parts:
CPU: i7 3770k
GPU: Sapphire HD 7870 (GHz Edition)
RAM: 8X1 GB G Skill (1600Mhz)
Motherboard: B75M D3V
OS: Windows 7 (64 bit)

1.This is my first time building a computer.(So basically i don't know much)
2.I haven't overclocked any of the parts yet

My Concerns:
1.Need For Speed Most Wanted runs at 20fps at max settiings
2.3D Mark 11 Scores is P5401(http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6344674), whereas expected score with a HD 7870 is around 6900
4.I have installed Catalyst Control Center and all the drivers at the motherboards website(these:http://www.gigabyte.in/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4...)

My Question:

1.What is wrong?
2.Are there any necessary drivers i have left out
3.Is the single memory stick( I plan to extend it to 16 GB when i have the money) or any other part like the motherboard creating a problem?

I'm not entirely sure, but it's possible it's RAM issue. RAM running in single-channel is a lot slower than dual-channel. Also, at what speed is the PCI-e port that has your 7870 running at? It could be a bandwidth problem. What is your power supply?

PSU: 600 W
My Mobo has a PCI E 3 16x Slot and my GPU is also PCI E 3.
