Lately I have been experiencing what i assume to be problems with my a-few-month-old SSD. When I am multitasking, and it has been becoming increasingly more frequent and fragile, everything will freeze up one by one, including programs I try to open (if even possible). After a few minutes, i get a big shiny Blue Screen giving the error code CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. I just restart and everything is normal. Now when my computer freezes up like this, I just force shut down and restart, but this time, I couldn't even get past the login screen (although I didn't wait for the BSOD that time). I tested the OS on an HDD and it works, and now my SSD is working too, but I am afraid my SSD is slowly dying. Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Whoever made your SSD should have an SSD-tester type program. It should be free and on there website. Probably your best option.

Also, RIP critical process, he was a good... process.

Any chance the operating system is Microsoft Windows 8? There have been reports in numerous forums about the same error message when using Windows 8.
