Hello, I am currently building a "Budget" PC (Under 500usd and play games like CS:GO, GTAIV, and Battelfield 3 on Medium to High settings on a 1680x1050 monitor) for myself, and I had a question.

The CPU I am buying is a AMD Phenom II X4 965 and GPU is a GTX 650 Ti Boost, the 650 Ti Boost uses PCIE 3.0, the motherboards I am finding (mostly ones that don't break the bank) use PCIE 2.0, are there any motherboards that support PCIE 3.0 for amd cpus?

Solution
All of the GPU express lanes on the motherboards weather you get one that has 2.0/2.1/3.0 will all work with any GPU as they are backward compatible... 2.0 express lanes are still just as good as 3.0 ones. There is like less than a hair of a difference in them which really isn't a concern that you should be worrying about. But no sorry am3 mobo's do not have 3.0 express lanes at least not with that CPU...

But really tho you shouldn't worry about that it's not even worth it to go spend more for it anyway...like maybe 1 or 2 frames faster? If that...but its all theory the real world performance nobody can notice any difference in 2.0 or 3.0...
