Hey. I bought battlefield 3 today and I came home and installed it. Whenever I play Multiplayer, I get a maximum of 27fps. I run it on Lowest settings and it doesn't make a difference.

How much FPS should I be getting and if I'm supposed to be getting more, why am I getting what I'm getting?

My specs:

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G640 @ 2.80GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce GTX 650 Ti
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11C6&SUBSYS_526319…
Display Memory: 3768 MB
Dedicated Memory: 1994 MB
Shared Memory: 1773 MB
Current Mode: 1280 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

(I think my processor is letting me down.)

Thanks in advance!

BF3 multi player is CPU bound so you probably need a faster CPU to get better frame rates.

You should expect around 27 fps. :p

To increase that number, you'll need a faster cpu and/or 8 gb of RAM.

I've seen people get around 40 fps on youtube. I was getting 19-25 on my imac with 2.93 and 5750 mobile, so the 650 should get you a nice bit above that. IMO more than 27 fps that was previously mentioned. :p
