A friend gave me this board (ASUS M4A785-M) along with a Phenom X3 Processor and 2 Gb DDR2 RAM. I installed everything in my old desktop and it runs great with Win XP 32 bit. But I havent been able to install my Gigabyte Geforce 6600 gt. When i run the nvidia driver installer it doesnt find the card installed. Also I get no signal when I connect the monitor to the card instead of the on board VGA port even rebooting the pc.

Any sugestions or link references are much appreciated.

@renz496
I downloaded this from nvidia site: 307.83-desktop-winxp-32bit-international-whql

But when I run it, it says "no compatible hardware found" :-S

@swifty_morgan
That was the windows I had at hand when upgraded the desktop.
About the BIOS... I've never gone beyond changing Time, Date and Boot preferences, so any guidance on what to do in the BIOS will be much appreciated.

I searched in the beta-legacy site and downloaded latest and earliest driver for the 6600 gt and both said "no compatible hardware found".
I checked the device manager and it doesnt show the card or any unknown device. Looked for new devices but nothing appeared. So looks like the PC doesnt see the card installed. I guess I need to do something in the BIOS. :-S
