Thanks ARICH5,

really the computer is 5 years old so if i wanted it to scream i am aware i need to go and get a gaming comp. but this is something i don't do too often so simply looking to squeeze the more out of the chipset i have due to low usage.

i am more than willing to buy a power supply if i must and i greatly appreciate the insight.

games like star craft, company of hero's. resolution would be ideal if it just looked reasonable at 1920X1080? if that's not reasonable than you can simply right size my expectations.

It would still help to know a rough budget for your upgrade.

Woops, sorry guys!

$100-350 probably. not sure if the law of diminishing returns sets in at $200 vs $300 ect.... obviously spending less money is ideal but it would be more desirable to get something that really makes the computer run better, with a notable improvement in gaming than not get much bang for the buck cause i skimped(like when i bought an HP ;)).

Thanks!
