Computer Stuttering & Crashing

Hey. After various troubleshooting of various parts, I am now officialy stumped. My computer was originally audio and video stuttering shortly followed by a crash. I thought I had traced it down to one of my graphics cards (2 GTX 460s) and removed it. All went well until now. Now the computer is stuttering/locking up for 10-30 seconds at a time, but not crashing (though I did get the same audio/video stuttering signalling a crash again). I have already changed the data from one hard drive to another to try and see if it was an HD issue, but it wasn't since it persisted. Even then, when my computer locks up, the HD light stays persistently lit as if the HD is having issues loading data. Could this be a motherboard/PSU issue?
Build:
8GB G.Skill Ripjaw RAM
2 1GB GTX 460s (one right now)
ASUS Sabertooth x58 motherboard
2 640GB hard drives
i7 950 at stock clocks

Sorry, forgot to put that in. It's a Corsair 850w PSU. If I could remember specific model/make I would give it. Also an update. Computer just flashed a BSOD and reset. Hm.

Remember the BSOD code? Check the event viewer for errors.

My new 7950 would daily lose the monitors. I thought the card was bad and nearly opened an RMA. I remembered to check the event viewer and saw I was having an issue with hdd 5. Looking at disk management drive 5 is/was a USB card reader. I've unplugged the reader and haven't had any issues for a week now.

Alright. I checked the Event Viewer and have come across a ton of "Peer Networking/Name" errors, such as terminating or failing to start. I searched around and found that deleting idstore apparently fixed it. I have yet to find any BSOD codes, though.

I wouldn't think networking issues would be the problem either. The computer did not stop to show the code though. A simple flash and it was gone. I still cannot find the stop code through the event viewer, and it did not make a dump file, unfortunately.

Yeah. Already turned that off, but I switched the graphics card to the second PCI slot on the motherboard. It's been stable so far, but I'm not sure how long that'll last considering the inconsistency of this box.

Sorry about not updating for the past couple of days. Stupidly enough, it seems the headset I'm using (Logitech G930) could actually be causing the crashes. My friend has the same headset (only thing that is consistent between our builds) and he gets the exact same issue with the exact same thing happening to him. Going to unplug the headset and do some testing.
