Hey guys!

For a while now, my computer's been freezing up ever so often and sometimes a BSOD occurs. At first it occurred every month or so, then every week, to now almost everyday. I'm starting to get annoyed at this as it sometimes BSOD's when I'm gaming or finishing some work. Sometimes games freeze and crash too.

I've asked a couple of my friends and they say it's likely my RAM or HDD. So i decided to run some tests and here's what I came up with for my HDD. Is my HDD the source of the problem? If I replace it, will the crashing, freezing, and BSOD's stop? The drive is a ST3750630AS from Seagate.

This is with HD Tune Pro.

PS. My computer is just under 5 years old.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz
Dell Xps 630 630i Motherboard (0C113J)
Hynix 8GB (4 x 2GB) PC2-6400 DDR2-800MHz Memory (HMP125U6EFR8C-S6 AB)
Seagate Barracuda 750GB 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive (ST3750630AS)
PowerColor Radeon HD 5770 1GB Video Card (AX5770)
Dell XPS 630 Case
Dell 750W Power Supply (D750E-00)
Dell D568C DH-16A6S CD-R/RW DVD R/RW IDE Optical Drive (DH-16A6S)

Anyother problems it might have? I just want the blue screening and freezing to stop.

it could well be the cause for your BSOD and freezing

have you tried using the Seagate diagnostic utility?

No I haven't. Is it required that I burn it to a disk and install it? I'll have to go buy some burnable DVD's or something because I don't have any at the moment.
