Hey there,
So I bought a new monitor (samsung synchmaster T220HD) so I could enjoy my full HD gaming experience.
When I connected the HDMI from my videocard to my monitor it was all fine (I have a second LG monitor with a max res of 1680x1050) but I didn't realise that the screen res. on my Samsung now was also 1680x1050 since I have them set as extending eachother.
So I wanted to use the full HD and set the resolution to 1920x1080, by doing this all the sudden the windows desktop got kinda pixelated... like it was even a very lower res.
By switching back to 1680x1050 it all looked fine, also in games, when using the full hd settings (in my case mw2) the weapons and maps look far worse than using the 1680x1050 which in that case look far more "high res
Now another problem is:
When I use my ps3 on that monitor it also gives this crappy output.. but this time I am not able to switch to 1680x1050 since the ps3 doesn't allow you this further personalisation...
So my question is:
Has anyone had this problem before and/or knows a fix for this?
Kind regards,
Hubert.
