Hi everyone,

I've just acquired the following pc:
http://www.compustunt.nl/Webwinkel-Product-25203335/Whi...

as well as a Samsung Syncmaster with VGA and DVI input, and a Syncmaster with VGA and HDMI input.

I'm at a loss on how to set up dual monitors, what cables do I need and what configuration is best? If advisable I'm sure I can exchange some of the monitors - should I have both as HDMI or is what I have now okay?

Your advice is much appreciated :)

Thanks,
Liezl

If I'm not mistaken about your video card, you have 2 DVI ports and 4 Displayports.

Graphics Card -> DVI -> Monitor
Graphics Card -> DVI to HDMI adapter -> Monitor

The card has DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI and some mini thing. Just to confirm - are you advising that I shouldn't use the HDMI but only the two DVI ports?

Hi, the easiest route would be using DVI->DVI on one monitor and HDMI->HDMI on the other.

You can use the HDMI port. I personally try not to if possible because I've had issues with HDMI and multiple monitors, but 1 monitor hooked up via HDMI and the other hooked up via DVI should work just fine.
