Going to buy some bulk cat5e cable.. this.
I'm assuming this is solid since apparently most bulk cable is (can anyone tell from the given details?)... what I'm wondering is if I'm going to have problems running cable like this round doorways and skirting boards?
Is solid cable too inflexible for that sort of run which will involve 90 degree corners?

You really can force any cable to really be 90 degree. You likely can't hurt it if you only use your hands to bend it...ie don't try to pound it into position with a hammer. Many times on the top of door corners you can take a round file and file a small grove.

If you can pry the boards off without damaging the paint many times there is a gap in the back or you can carve one with simple tools.
