i put a seagate barracuda 7200.9 sata in as a slave yesterday, problem is it won't allow me to write anything to it. i get the prompt window,
there is not enough space on local disk. when it's freshly formatted and it's completely free. i've tried a few things, can't get anything to work. windows 7 home premium.

Does it show as healthy in disk management? Is it formated to ntfs? Does it show free space on the partition?

Next thing would be a file system check. If that doesn't help, check the security settings for the drive. I don't know how it should happen, but maybe you don't have write access to it wit the logged in user.
