Guys I'm a noob to pcs but not gaming . I needa pc that can play my mmorpgs that havebig sieges with more than 100+ players on screen at one with no lag or slow down. Lots of the benchmarkings vids I see are with fps. My 2x6970s run battlefield and other fpses great but wen it comes to my mmorpgs and I'm in a instance with just 20 ppl I get horrible frame rates. I want to play my mmorpgs as they were meant to played visually . What kind of pc do I need for that. Ty

What processor do you have? The dual 6970s are capable of handling anything an MMO will throw at them (or any modern title really) so the processor is almost certainly the culprit, esp. since you mention the problem occurs when there are many players on screen (which is when the CPU will be most stressed).

Also what MMOs in particular are you having issues with? WoW for example runs much, much better on Intel rather than AMD. I would recommend an i5.

Have you got an SSD as well? It's not strictly related to the frame rate performance, but they are great for MMOs, since they improve the loading times so much.

Yea, it's most likely the CPU you have that can't handle it. It may also be a ram issue where you do not have enough, but i am pretty sure you should have enough because most MMOs run in 32-bit structure and can only use up to 4GB.
