Need help with gpu selection please!

hello all I am trying to chose a gpu for my new gaming/editing build, and I thought I had my card selected however my friend is telling me I am making a mistake.The card I was going to go with is a gtx670 4gb card where as he believes the 660ti 3gb is a better selection, could someone please point me in the right direction here?

What resolution is your monitor?

Unless it's 1600p or a triple monitor setup, NEITHER of those are any good at all.

There is absolutely NO reason to buy a card with increased VRAM unless you need it, as if you don't need it, it gives ZERO performance benefit.

Your best buy for a single 1080p monitor is a 2GB 670.
