Intel E3400 & Asus P5QPL-AM overclocking - Dram:Fsb ratio fixed ?

Dear overclocker,

I am new to overclocking (read some guides) and I decided to try to overclock my Intel E3400 (2.6gHz) up to 3.5-3.9gHz but I'm not able to due to my bios options (at least I don't know how). I've read some threads here on the forum but I found no solution to my answer or I couldn't manage to find one (tell me if there is already one).

My System:
Asus P5QPL-AM motherboard, 2x Corsair xms2 DDR2 800MHz (5-5-5-18, 1.80V) & Intel E3400.

The problem is that I can't increase my fsb to more than 240mHz because if I do so the dram frequency goes up as well (higher than 800mHz) and there is no possibility to set it manually except for these mainboard-given values. Since the maximum value of the multiplier is 13x, I can go simply up to 3,12gHz but I want more.

To clarify my problem I've just uploaded some images for you (bios & cpu-z):

Nothing changed there. Just switched enabled to disabled to see the stock values:

Is the dram:fsb ratio fixed or am I just to stupid to manage it? I've read alot about 1:1 but I have 1:2 ratio. If it is fixed, is there any way for me to get more gHz without overclocking my memory? I'm scared about overclocking my memory although I tested it with dram 833mHz & fsb 250mHz and it run stable (resulted 3.25gHz).

I would be thankful for any idea or hint to reach my 3.5-3.9gHz goal.

Best regards

Thank you for your reply,

the options for AI Overclocking are [Auto], [MANUAL] & [Overclock Profile].
If [Auto] is selected there is only dram frequency access (667 or 800), [MANUAL] is what it is on the screenshots and [Overclocking Profile] has some sub-options: [5%],[10%],[15%],[20%]&[Test Mode].
Is one of these sub-options selected, I have also no access to dram frequency or fsb. [20%] is actually 240fsb with 800mhz dram frequency. I have no idea what [Test Mode] does (I've noticed no changes)

The option cpu frequency is a "valid input value" from 133 to 800 (stock was 200).

With the cpu that you have and the motherboard you don't have a lot of options but you do have some. The Overclocking Profile and sub options will give you a slight overclock. If you select the 20% option you will add .52mhz to your 2.6ghz for an overclock of 3.12ghz. It has been a long time since I have had a motherboard of the brand and model so I'm not totally sure what you can do further the 3.12ghz may be it.
If after selecting the 20% you may be able to increase the FSB a little more to get to 3.5ghz but you may have to add some voltage. Increasing the FSB will increase the ram frequency.

This thread may help you some.
