I've got an old projector that has a max resolution of 800x600, and I'd like to use it to connect to my PlayStation 3 (yes, I should buy a new projector, no, I'm not going to <grin>).
I've got an HDMI to M1 adapter, and the projector shows that it's receiving 1920x1080 so it's definitely talking to the PS3, but then it just gives up, I don't get any sort of signal.
Is there an easy/inexpensive way to reduce the resolution of an HDMI signal? I don't think there's any way to tell the PS3 to run at a lower resolution.
Thanks,
Chris
