I5 3470 ==> 3.2Ghz X 4

AMD Fx 8350 ==> 4Ghz X 8

I'm Looking to buy a gaming pc with :
8GO RAM / 500 GO HDD
MSI GTX 660 NON TI OC 1 FAN
Asus H61M

AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CHOOSE :D
In CPUs

Solution

That motherboard wouldn't work with the AMD CPU, and would require a BIOS update with the Intel CPU. I'd recommend a B75/H77 motherboard if you go Intel, or a 970/990X/990FX motherboard if you go AMD.

The Core i5 will be better in gaming if you don't overclock. Overclocked, the FX-8350 should at least keep up with it in games, and it'll be much faster at certain tasks (rendering eg.).
Problem is you need to spend more on the motherboard, CPU cooler, and power supply if you want to overclock the FX-8350.

The FX 8350 is going to be better at somethings, the i5-3470 will be better at some. If you plan to play Skyrim almost exclusively, go with the intel, if you plan to play anything else go with either, and if you plan to multi-task or do video rendering/encoding that sort of thing go with the FX 8350

My personal recommendation is the FX 8350

If the choice is FX-8350 + 900-series chipset mobo vs. i5 + H61 chipset board, I'll take the AMD every time. If you get a decent Intel board, I'd rather have the i5, unless this is a non-gamer box for well-threaded and/or many applications.

Not really more expensive at all:

For OC:
Mobo: Asrock 970 extreme3 - $75
Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO $29
PSU: 600W PC Power & Cooling 80PLUS Bronze (Modular) $59

With the 3470, you're looking at something like:
Mobo: MSI B75MA-P45 - $63
Cooler: Intel Boxed - $0
PSU: 500W PC Power & Cooling 80PLUS Bronze (Modular) - $69.99 (the one you're talking about actually goes for $79.99, and that's after a rebate)

In addition, the Core i5-3470 is slightly cheaper than the FX-8350 ($5 at the moment, woohoo). Overall you save something on the order of $50-60 on the total build.

Anyway, none of this is directly relevant to the OP, who is buying a prebuilt system and outside the US.

Well, it looks like a decent system. I don't know about pricing in your country, but I suspect it would still be substantially cheaper if you assembled your own system.
