Ive had my powercolor 7870 myst edition (tahiti le card) for just over a week and im already thinking of getting another one just so i can cross fit.

But if i get another card i would have spent about $400ish-450 (assuming i find the card for $230 or less or $209 again to be specific). So with that, how are the performance of 2 7870 LE cards as suppose to just 1 7970?

I see many 7970 cards for under $450, my local microcenter has the powercolor 7970 for $399.

General rule of thumb is go with a Single more powerful card then 2 lower powered cards, this way you can avoid micro-stuttering problems.
not all crossfire configs suffer stuttering but lower end cards are more prone to it over top end cards in Crossfire
