My graphics card doesn't work in the top slot (PCIe x16) on my motherboard. It works perfectly in the x8 slot, and I know graphics cards do not fully saturate the x16 slot but I'd like to have it in there nonetheless. The card previously worked perfectly on another motherboard's x16 slot, so I'm not sure why it isn't working on this motherboard. I've tried resetting BIOS settings, plugging it in/out again, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers and overclocking software. (MSI Afterburner) The card works perfectly, I run graphics intensive games/test my overclocks with kombustor. It's only really personal preference/space/possible single digit FPS boosts that I'm looking to get out of this.

CPU: i5 2500k
Other specs can be provided if you need them. Motherboard is relatively new, couple months old. No problems with it and it hasn't been manhandled.
