New Rig (First Time) Evaluation

Hello, I am building my first rig. I'm looking for it to be a fairly high-end, near the top of the line pc. I'll be using it for all sorts of things, including gaming and rendering/editing video. I'm just wondering how it looks to you guys. Let me know of any comments, suggestions or criticism you have for my build. Thanks in advance!

The i7 fits for the video editing

I'd use 2 x 8GB

Personally, I'd want a bit better , workstation class MoBo and Id move to the 850 watt PSU for OC'ing the 67os and CPU

CPU cooler - you don't actually need a CPU cooler since you are not going to overclock it, if u insists on getting a CPU cooler, go for a cheaper one such as Xigmatek Gaia.

MB - go for a cheaper Z77 board such as Asus P8Z77-V-LK

SSD - go for 840 pro instead of 840, or OCZ vector or even Intel 520

GPU - I prefer Asus GTX 670 for its quiet and superb performance .

Yes, to everything except the GPU, I'm not going to be spending more than $400 on a vid card, and all the asus ones are like $450.

The case you chose does not have an USB 3.0 port, consider Raidmax super hurricane/cougar solution/Xigmatek Asgard pro
