| i5 2500k | Gigabyte 7850 2GB | 8GB G.SKILL DDR3 | GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 | Samsung F3R 1 TB HDD | Antec 902 | Windows 8 64-bit

The above build was put together a year and a half ago and has simply never functioned properly. From frozen black screens during gaming to random restarts, it simply does not work. I've stress tested the memory, video card, and CPU dozens of times and it all appears fine during those, as well as tried 100's of different driver installs but nothing. Attempted to research how to "flash" the motherboard but went nowhere with that. All updates I've attempted to download and install for the motherboard from the website do not work/install properly. Finally admitting defeat and throwing in the towel. Gonna attempt to return my video card for a new one, buy a new different motherboard, and get a new PSU since I'm using a 5 year old one from a previous build.

Looking for recommendations for a new motherboard and PSU, compatible with the build at the top? As well as any other advice, thanks in advance.

I posted tons of threads on this site and various others. Most of the advice was what I listed above, such as installing drivers and using the stress test programs to test to see which component was broken. Only thing is that this problem has persisted through 2 video cards now, my old 5750 and my brand new 7850. . . Anyway, any recommendations on PSU and motherboards that fit my build?

Antec, Corsair, SeaSonic, PC Power and Cooling, to name a few but I will suggest finding a PSU you are interested in... 500W should be sufficient and then check the reviews for that unit here http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm - if the specific PSU or it's series isn't reviewed there (or has a bad review there) you probably want to avoid it (that isn't an absolute but my general rule of thumb)
