asrock extreme 6 mobo
gskill ripjaws z 1600mhz 8gb ram
amd 6970 video card from xfx
power supply xfx pro 850w silver

my problem is my system randomly crashes and not just while under load ether i"l be surfing the web...playing minecraft/bf3/diablo 3/ working with unity or just idle

this doesn't happen very often maybe once a week

what happens exactly is... I am doing whatever then it becomes unresponsive while making hellish noise in speaker/headphones... only way to get out of this is to psychically restart(aka the restart button)

what I have done to fix/debug this issue...

ram timing is fine

I have disabled hyper-threading doesn't help

I have checked voltage and heat all fine

I have had task manager and amd open to see what happens to cpu/gpu/ram when the pc is frozen... nothing to be concerned about

I have replaced ram from gskill ripjaws x to z

restarting windows 7 os

I may have done more will edit if I remember something else I have done

anyway it's a big problem for me many hours waisted if pc freezes while I am in the middle of deving

any help would be appreciated thanks
