I am preparing to buy Sapphire Radeon HD6570 1GB but my 4 yrs old Hp small form factor has a 250W psu.
I am not in a state to change the psu and hence after some research i found Sapphire Radeon HD6570 the best low profile budget card.

It Is a LITEOn PS 5251 250W

MY PSU READS:

Input : 100-127V~7A
200-240V~3.5A

Output : +5V---/18A Max +12V--- /18A Max
+3.3V--- /10A Max -12V--- /0.3A Max

Combined power on +5V And +3.3V Rails not exceed 110W Max
Continuous total DC Output power shall not exceed 250W

More about : 250w psu run sapphire radeon hd6570 1gb

400 Watt or greater power supply is recommended for the HD6570 as well as for HD6540
Can you post the specifications of your PC?

Strictly speaking, it may work, but without a 350 to 450W PSU,the performance will not be up to mark.
Are you buying this card for gaming or processing?

I think you should go on these sites and check for yourself.

I would still recommend getting a better PSU(350 to 400W), but if your budget will absolutely not allow it, go ahead. For casual gaming I think it just may work.

BUT is not LiteOn a Quality PSU that can handle the card?
I definitively thought that it might handle the card after all HP is a trusted brand....

Sorry for the confusion regarding casual gaming.
casual gaming for me is--------
Sniper Ghost Warrior
AC3
Far Cry 3
Batman Arkham City
Avatar
Burnout Paradise
etc. all on medium to high settings

Its not a question of the brand or the quality, the question is pure wattage.

Here is a list of power requirements for every card.

I would say that you get the Card and see. Theres a good chance that it will work(Performance is not an issue, the HD 6570 can handle any game you throw at it on medium settings), but on the off chance it does not, you will need to buy a new PSU.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Is there is another option other than 6750HD ?
I want a low profile one.

You can go for the HD 5000 series, specifically the 5450,5550 or the 5570. All of them should work fine on 250W. The 5450 is the entry level card and it is the one I am using till I can upgrade to a better card.

upgrade to a better psu if you want a good budget graphics card. i say save up and get 7750/7770 and a new psu like corsair cx430

i like to ask something about my graphic card (X Vapor Sapphire Radeon HD 6750)..can this actually run in Gateway GT5676 (OS is Win7 Pro), and upgraded my psu from 300w to 700 watts (Huntkey)...i tried to put the card in PCI slots but it can detect and no response at all..and i notice that after a few seconds or minutes of standby my videocard and heatsink on processor is above average of the usual (hot) temperature...

Yes it will work, I was running a 7750 on a 220w psu, but I was also using an amd athlon x2 255 which sips power, and it was working fine for 6 months, till I upgraded to my recent rig. Long story short, unless you have a power hungry CPU, yes it will work.
