What card is better than a GTX 650 for under $325?

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card, for under $325? I power two 1920x1080 23" monitors with my EVGA GeForce GTX 650 1024MB GDDR5. It runs off of my 550Watt PSU, which I'm willing to upgrade for a more powerful card if its under $325 all together. I play games, do CAD work, and 3d model. Thanks.

  1. For that price you are looking at something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Provided you have a decent power supply and a cpu that will not bottleneck it.
  2. get a workstation card if you don't game much
  3. Well your about $40 shy a GTX 670 so the other option a 7950
  4. I would recommend a EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti SUPERCLOCKED. It only requires a 450w PSU and is good for mainstream gaming and fine for 3D and CAD programs.
  5. The 7950 would be your best bet. I have a 7950 in one of my rigs and a GTX 670 in another and I would pick the 7950 any day over the GTX 670.
